Where can I find a video of the ESPN screaming baseball.? I cannot find the cartoon video (or still PIC)of the ESPN Screaming Baseball. This is the clip they use on Baseball Tonight before they play clips of the players that went "YARD" that day. I could not find anything but references on the ESPN site. Does anybody know the name of a cartoon form the 80s or 90s that had the characters living inside a computer? "SB" Cartoon??? There was a cartoon series I was fond of as a kid, but I forgot what was the name of it. It was about a little boy, with a friend or sister? He had this bag, maybe a backpack or tote, with the letters "SB" on it, full of miniature items, like little tiny baseball bat, toy car, plane, et cetera, and he had this power to make them grow into life-sized and usable. He would drive the car and fly the plane. I think it was a Hanna-Barbera cartoon, but I am not sure.

Space cartoon from when I was a kid? When I was a kid (probably early to mid 80's) i remember this cartoon I use to watch but for the life of me i cant think of the name. I remember a couple of thing about it. 1. There was a charter in the show that was hurt in some way. I remember a part of the show where he tried to throw a baseball back to some kids and they made fun of him about it 2. there was a larger space ship in the show that held all these parts of a large robot that this hurt guy piloted. One part was the hands etc. 3. he was chosen to pilot this robot because he was hurt and it gave him away to get back into the military or something to that effect. 4. I remember the robot having horns for some reason. This is a very vague memory and there is a good chance I was mixing several cartoons together but I thought I would give it a shot. I actualy think I found it after hours of searching last night. I found a picture of some action figures and am pretty sure that it is Gaiking. I must have mixed some of the details up as i watched one of the episodes and it didnt look quite right but I am pretty sure that is what it is. thanks everyone for responding

Current State of Japanese Prime Time Television? I spent close to a month in an Army hospital ward in Camp Oji, near Tokyo, back in 1969, and wound up watching quite a bit of Japanese television. At that time, I was struck by how much prime time programing was taken up by baseball games and cartoons. I don't have any continuing interest in Japanese baseball, but I'm hoping someone who has recently visited Japan can tell me if cartoons/anime are still nearly ubiquitous to prime time Japanese television. If so, what genres are the most common now? Back in 1969 the two most common genres for cartoons seemed to be historical dramas and science-fiction.

I thought Harvey Haddix of Pirates circa 1956 pitched 12 perfect innings, only to lose in 13, no? More as follow-up to ? abt losing a no-hitter. I recall collecting baseball cards in early 60's and Haddix was still active then, and a cartoon on the back of the Topps Card chronicled his loss as one of baseball's ironies. I don't recall exactly the year, but pretty sure it was well before Maz's miracle HR.

Is the yahoo image racist? Is yahoo being racist by having a stereotype cartoon image of a black boy in a baseball hat and sports clothes, while the white girl isn't dressed like that? What's wrong with an image of a black male in as suit or without sports clothes on? I'm not black but it even made me think it looks steretypical.
