Cartoon Baseball

What can we, as fans do to make baseball games more exciting?

Is there any way to make baseball games, while watching them, more entertaining?

  1. do a shot every time something boring happens. You'll be plastered by the 2nd inning
  2. scream and shout during a game and....
  3. Some people keep score to keep them interested in the game.
  4. If there were more women willing to flash between pitches it would be better.
  5. Speed it up a bit by taking the TV timeouts out of the game.
  6. well, if you're a true fan you don't need ways to make it exciting. You'd just enjoy it.
  7. always wear a pittsburgh pirates hat along with any other piece of apparel of that same team go pirates!
  8. If you're at the ballpark: Watch the entire game. That is, watch what other players do when they are not directly involved in the play at hand. Watch the interaction of the various fielders on a play, Look for players backing up plays, cut-offs and fakes, runners advancing or not advancing. Watch the third base coach and the managers' signals. Try to anticipate what the manager will do in a given situation (steal vs. hit-and-run, put in a reliever, etc.).
  9. This might seem old school, but I keep score at almost every game I go to. You can use this to track things like when certain players are due up, find out how players are doing a particular game, guess who will be pinch hitting in a National League game, track pitchers, and so on. It forces you to pay more attention to the game itself and kills the boredom a little bit.
  10. 1) Go to the game. It is better there. 2) Drink beer 3) Drink more beer
  11. Do the wave more often, cheer when the are are 2 strikes against opposing batters. Fenway fans are knowledgable about baseball but tend to wait for things to happen rather than supporting the team
  12. We can't do anything..the game takes place on the field..it is exciting on it's own.
  13. little more than cheer your team on, keep a score card, have a beer and a brat, watch the teletron, or actually watch what is happening on the diamond between pitches..its a lot of little things going on all the time , or just enjoy talking to the friends you came with or the ones that you make setting next to you at the game.
