Should Little League Baseball players join a union to enforce TV networks to pay them to telecast games?
ESPN, Disney, & others are making millions & millions of dollars making money off kids playing the sport they love. The adult major leagues are playing a child's game...baseball. Shouldn't the kids be paid for playing in LLB, even if the money goes into a savings account which the kids can't collect till they are 18? Should the kids join a union to egt what they want to..."Get a piece of the action!" I think so! All the business people exploid kids for a profit, it time for the kids to strike back and, "Get a piece of the action!" It gives them good business practice for when they get older. They still enjoy playing baseball. Would you want money hungry people/businesses/corporations making money off you kid[s]?

- No. Dont drag the kids into more of this liberal bs, unions are stupid, and it would be a mistake to drag kids into them.
- Maybe, just maybe, little league should be about learning the skills of baseball, not about corporate sponsors and ESPN. When I was growing up, LL was way more fun than it is now. Too many parents think their kid is the next Ken Griffey or Randy Johnson. How many kids today are forced to play because their parents want them to? Maybe instead of kids being payed to play, adults should play for free.
- Jimmy Hoffa, is that you?!
- No you shouldn't pay them because then they become professionals and wouldn't be able to play in High School or College.
- will the players union supply them with steroids , like they do the pros ? professional ball is a corrupt sport , please don't corrupt baseball at the little league level.
- The revenues from broadcast rights help pay for teams' transportation to each of the eight World Series, as well as administrative costs for Little League: umpire clinics, rule books, etc. Little League does not turn a profit.
